Welcome to my little corner of the internet universe. Put on your apron, pull up a chair, and follow me on my adventures in medieval cooking. I hope you will visit often and explore with me as I muddle my way through a myriad of recipes and cooking methods from the middle ages.


I bet you're thinking "But there are so many websites out there! How will yours be different?"  You are correct. There are lots of websites and blogs dedicated to medieval cooking, but in the fifteen years I have been researching, redacting, and re-creating these recipes I have yet to find a "one-stop-shop", so to speak. I plan to post lots of photos, tutorials, and videos. I will also share my class handouts and notes. You'll have a chance to peek into my 14th century outdoor kitchen, and, since life is never perfect, I'll even share my culinary disasters.
